Sorrow. I was inspired to paint this, which then started me on the path to my new Emotions Series. I was struck when watching the news about the various wars, tsunami, floods, Sudan, Dufar, etc., how women were physically and spiritually broken; however, they were always clustered together, finding strength from one another. It is the eternal secret of women...the power, strength, and light we find in each other during our darkest hour.
